Ekin Can Göksoy

Ekin Can Göksoy is a writer and a storyteller. In 2014, his first book, Münhal, a collection of short stories, and in 2016, his first novel, Epope Tatavla were published by İletişim Publishing. In 2015, he was chosen as a writer to accompany EU Armenia-Turkey reconciliation project, Acting Together. Since 2017, he has been telling stories and participating in performances organized by the Artship Foundation in İstanbul ve San Francisco. In 2018, he opened his exhibition, A Chance for a Miracle, with Larissa Araz at poşe, İstanbul. In 2019 he was the Mary Blessing Fellow, and included in the Artship Foundation Associate Scholars Core Group. In 2020, he was the writer-in-residence at Camargo Foundation under Be Mobile Create Together project; became the co-facilitator of Garp Sessions, which is a research program bringing artists and thinkers together. The artist collective he founded with Larissa Araz, palimpsest, was chosen for 2020-21 Arter Research Program. Now he is working on his first short film Our Mutual Friend with Yumurta Film. Since 2015 he has been writing film critiques and pieces on the history of cinema on FilmLoverss. Göksoy is pursuing his Ph.D. on urban history at Boğaziçi University Department of History.
